At Big State Electric, our internship program gives students a unique opportunity to experience the full life cycle of our projects, from the engineering and design phase all the way through construction and completion. Because we have our own in-house engineering department and everything operates under one roof, interns get hands-on exposure to how every part of the process works together instead of being siloed into just one area. Whether they’re engineering majors or construction science majors, interns gain real-world experience alongside multiple teams, build practical skills, and develop a better understanding of the industry. We’re proud to give students the chance to learn beyond the classroom through on-the-job training and see what it really takes to bring projects to life.
